Version 1.0 / Effective 2026-10-27
Effective date: October 27, 2026.
Somatic Training Lab offers guided educational practice in noticing experience and developing personal skills through voluntary repetition. It is not psychotherapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, or a promise to prevent or cure a condition. Learning intentions are not guaranteed outcomes, and a check-in or score is not a clinical assessment.
You remain in charge of your participation. Keep your eyes open, change position, direct attention toward your surroundings, listen without doing an exercise, reduce the effort, take a break, or stop whenever you choose. There is no required emotional or bodily state to achieve. Completing a lesson is not more important than your ability to choose how to participate.
Use guided practices only in an environment where you can safely pause and attend to them. Do not follow attention-absorbing exercises while driving, operating machinery, or doing another activity that requires uninterrupted attention. Do not force breathing, movement, inward attention, or any other instruction beyond what is comfortable and appropriate for you.
Experiences vary. If a practice causes pain, dizziness, distress, disorientation, or another concerning response, stop and seek appropriate assistance. If a condition or current treatment raises questions about participation, consult a qualified professional familiar with your circumstances. The site and support mailbox do not provide emergency monitoring or emergency care.
Using STL does not by itself establish a treatment relationship with the operator or a professional listed on the platform. Any professional relationship and its responsibilities must be agreed separately. Do not change prescribed care solely because of a lesson, account report, or intended training outcome.
Acknowledging this notice confirms the educational scope and voluntary nature of participation. It must not be interpreted as a guarantee of safety or as a waiver of rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
